Be Careful With My Heart – from TV to Movie; Possible MMFF 2013 Entry

After dominating the morning television in the Philippines and capturing the hearts of the Filipinos here in the country and abroad through TFC, Be Careful With My Heart will now be on the big screen very soon. Be Careful With My Heart airs on ABS-CBN weekdays with marathon every Saturday now runs for almost a year since it aired its first episode last July 9, 2012. The daytime television family drama stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap, Mutya Orquia, Janella Salvador and Jerome Ponce.

Meanwhile, Be Careful With My Heart the Movie was announced last week as one of the 15 movies that the committee of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) will be selecting to join the final 8 for the actual film festival that will happen on Christmas Day. The film adaptation of Be Careful With My Heart will follow the love story of Sir Chief (Yap) and Maya (Sta. Maria) that started in a employer and employee relationship and later grew as a romantic relationship.

Be Careful With My Heart the Movie will be under the production and distribution of Star Cinema, and will be one of the three movies that Star Cinema will be entering for the 2013 MMFF as entries. Other films include Boy, Girl, Bakla, Tomboy of Vice Ganda and Maricel Soriano in partnership with Viva Films, and Pagpag of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla in partnership with Skylight Films and Regal Films. Last year’s MMFF, Star Cinema became the big winner after producing two box office films Sisterakas and One More Try that even brought home big awards during the festival.
