With Election happening on Monday (May 13), SMART Communications Inc. in partnership with Rappler they created a campaign Vote Smart. Joining the campaign are SMART celebrity ambassadors including Luis Manzano, Elmo Magalona, Maxene Magalona, Barbie Almalbis and Ramon Bautista. The campaign Vote Smart aims to create awareness about the candidates for both senatorial and local government units before they will be voted on the position.
Coming from the title itself, they encourages us to actively participate on the election by knowing the current issues and to be part of getting the solution where it will start on participating on a clean and violence free election. It encourages us to be smart with our choice of candidates that we will be voting and doesn’t base our votes through popularity and being present in all the campaigns which we all know most of their ads are flooding TV and radio airtime along with the banners and posters we are seeing everywhere. Instead base our votes through their works, reputations and dedication in serving the country and fellow Filipinos.
With that SMART and Rappler appoints the celebrity ambassadors to take the lead in aiming for a clean election and making that smart vote.
