ABS-CBN will be airing a back to back Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz films on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday; A Very Special Love and You Changed My Life. Both directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, the two romantic comedy films follow the love story of Laida Magtalas and Miggy Montengro played by Sarah and John Lloyd Cruz respectively. It will be airing at 9PM.
A Very Special Love introduces Laida who applied as a secretary to Miggy in their publishing company named FlipPage. Having a positive point of view in life and feelings for Miggy she tries to understand him despite of him being moody and bossy. Later she discovered the other side of Miggy as a broken person hiding from a tough personality and with Laida’s love she tries to mend him. Meanwhile, You Changed My Life continues the story of Laida and Miggy now as a couple. Laida remained in FlipPage and Miggy was asked by his brother to lead their laundry company. Without Laida in his side and being new in the industry, Miggy did wrong decisions that lead to protest of the workers in the company. How will he find his way out especially now that Laida’s ex-crush is working with her and might be taking his position?
A Very Special Love and You Changed My Life are romantic comedy films that offer a wonderful story about love, friendship and family that is worth watching as we take our break from our busy schedules and reflect on the Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. And after the back to back Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz movie on TV, the third installment of their tandem will be showing in all cinemas nationwide beginning March 30 in all cinemas nationwide under Star Cinema and Viva Films entitled It Takes A Man and A Woman.
