ABS-CBN will having try-outs for Minute to Win It on January 7 and 8 starting 8AM at the ABS-CBN Center Road in Quezon City. It will be open to Filipinos with age 18 and above. There will be series of task using everyday household items which they must finish in just 1 minute and might bring them closer to Php 1 Million.
Challenges included in the Minute to Win It try-outs are fanning three raw eggs with a pizza box into a pre-designated area on the other side of the stage, stacking eight octagon bolts on top of each other using a barbecue stick to form a tower that must be freestanding for three seconds, tossing a water bottle and getting it to land upright on a table five feet away, and sucking candies with a straw and placing them one at a time on straws standing vertically.
Minute to Win It is a franchise from Shine Limited Inc that produces The Biggest Loser and Master Chef, both shows that aired in ABS-CBN. Up to date, the show has been franchised in 40 countries, including Australia, Spain, United States, India, and the United Kingdom. The mechanics of the show is for every task completed, the contestant will elevate to the next level with another task increasing its difficulty and or course the pot money goes up until it reaches the Php 1M.
The show will be airing this January on ABS-CBN and will be hosted by Luis Manzano.
