On Christmas Eve (December 24), ABS-CBN will be showing one of the best episodes of the King of Comedy Dolphy on Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) entitled Kerubin. It will be showing on the MMK Klasiks on the Kapamilya Gold timeslot. It was directed by Mac Alejandra and also stars Dolphy’s son Vandolph. The Kerubin episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya aired last December 9, 1992.
MMK’s Kerubin follows the story of Lito “Luis” Meneses played by Dolphy who gave his sister his son (Vandolph) after being accused of murder and put to jail. After gaining his freedom and hoping to reunite with his son, Luis applied to be a family driver to his sister. Having the fear of rejection and what his son might think against him, Luis hides his real identity and continue loving his son and being close to him.
