After being announced as the Teen Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 last July 7 at the Malolos Convention Center in Malolos City, Bulacan, the cosplay cutie of Iloilo City Mrytle Sarrosa faced the entertainment press together with the rest of Teen Big Four Karen Reyes, oy Requejo and Joj and Jai Agpangan to answer all the questions that are waiting from them outside the Big Brother’s House. Myrtle, a second year BS Accountancy in University of the Philippines-Diliman was one of the teen housemates who became regular in most of the nomination nights along with ex-teen housemates Karen manages to secure her slot at the Big Four and the winner of this edition after getting almost half of the total combined votes of Vote to Save and Evict during the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 B.F.F at the Big Night.
Having that passion for Cosplay, Myrtle affirms that if ever she will be entering showbiz she will never stop participating in cosplay events which she will try to balance it with her career and studies. According to her it is her first love and it will never change. During the press conference Myrtle is wearing the costume that she wore during the opening of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4. If given a chance she wanted to participate in international cosplay events just like her idol Alodia Gosiengfiao who is very popular with this passion and tagged as the Cosplay Queen.
Myrtle shared that the money she is using to fund her costumes in cosplay events came in her pocket. According to her she sold some of her costumes online in order to get funds for her new costumes. Aside from Cosplay, Myrltle amazes the entertainment press when she sung a classical song which according to her she studied it order to sing for her grandmother who enjoyed this kind of music.
In regards with the cash prize that she won as Teen Big Winner, she mentioned that aside from saving it for her future part of it will be donated in the government in Iloilo City to help the future Philippine Football players where Philippine Azkals’ Emelio “Chieffy” Caligdong came there.
About her studies, Myrtle was fortunate to given an extension by UP Diliman to enroll but according to her she wanted to be fair for fellow students which she already have so many absents. That’s why she will be planning to come back on the next semester and will be working schedule with her parents and handlers.
