As the nation mourns to the passing of Rodolfo Vera Quizon, Sr or popularly know as the Comedy King Dolphy, Maalaala Mo Kaya will be airing his “Bisikleta” episode this Saturday (July 14). In this episode he was joined by Makisig Morales, Epi Quizon, Marita Zobel, Roxanne Guinoo, Eric Fructuso, John Arcilla, and Nash Aguas. It was written by Ruel Montañez and Arah Jell Badayos, and directed by Jeffrey Jeturian.
The Bisikleta episode of MMK follows the return of Abel (Dolphy) to his family after being imprisoned for 40 years for a crime he didn’t committed. Hoping to be reunited with his family and patch things together, Andoy (Arcilla) still have that anger against his father believing that he killed Carding (Fructuso) who was the second husband of his wife Liza (Zobel). Until he met Mark (Morales) and befriended him without knowing that he is his grandson. Epi Quizon, Dolphy’s son will be playing the role of the young Abel in the story.
