Finally it is here, the teleserye that stars Zanjoe Marudo and Megan Young will finally air on ABS-CBN at the Kapamilya Gold time slot on May 28. The Precious Hearts Romances Presents Hiyas which was moved to a later date to give way to other Kapamilya shows will be replacing Wako Wako in its current timeslot that will be ending on May 26. This is the first Precious Hearts Romances that has the theme of fantasy-action adventure to be adapted by ABS-CBN for their PHR series, it is based on Precious Heart Romances’ Silang, the Fierce Warrior by Sofia and it was directed by Adolfo Alix, Jr.
This 15th installment of the Precious Hearts Romances series follows the story of Silang (Marudo), a native warrior from the tribe of Tanah and set to marry childhood sweetheart Giana (Mercedes Cabral). In order to fulfill their marriage and to unite two opposing tribe, Silang must bring back the missing Gem of Tanah that gives luck and prosperity to their people. In his search for the Gem of Tanah, Silang met Sapphire, a beautiful and charming city girl whom he met on his journay. At first Silang didn’t like Sapphire because of her personality but later on he will need her help in order to find the missing gem. But things became complicated when Sapphire finally adapts to the culture of Silang’s tribe along with his people and later on falling in love with each other. Will Silang finally fulfill his task to bring home the missing Gem of Tanah and marry Giana or is city girl named Sapphire be that gem that he is longing for to have in his life?
Also starring Edward Mendez, Neri Naig, Tetchie Agbayani, Angel Jacob, Tricia Santos, Sharmaine Suarez, John Arcilla, Nonie Buencamino, Allan Paule and Lemuel Pelayo, Precious Hearts Romances Presents Hiyas airs on May 28 after Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 Uber 2012 on ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold!
