In line with the disaster preparedness campaign, World Food Programme (WFP) handed
over four lap-top computers, one tower server and one blade server,
with a total value of around PhP 650,000 to the Department of Social
Welfare and Development (DSWD) last March 1. It is part of the grant given by the United States Agency for
International Development/Office for Foreign Disaster Assistance
(USAID/OFDA) in support of the Disaster Preparedness and Response project of WFP and DSWD.
