Yesterday, during the special live chat conducted by the World Food Programme with the help of Cisco in New York, I had the chance to meet Molly. She’s a 12-year-old girl from Nairobi, Kenya and dreams to become a nun in the future. With her best friend Yvonne and most of her fellow students at the Valley View Academy goes to school with an empty stomach having problems focusing with their studies. With this kind of dilemma, it will be hard for Molly to fulfill her dreams and help her parents who are selling Simsin (a sweet delicacy in Kenya) for a living which doesn’t provide their needs that much with the earnings they get from selling it.

With the help of World Food Programme, they will launch the Molly’s World Quiz on the International Women’s Day to empower young women with big dreams like Molly along with male students in Kenya and other part of the world that is struggling for hunger and fulfill their goals for a brighter future. The quiz aims to feed a child with the help of the WFP supporters. Donations will be used in for the school meal that WFP distributed in areas like in Nairobi, Kenya. For every completed quiz, a child will be fed and to assure it, the website will be getting the participant’s name and email. To join the quiz and to feed a child, participants must visit this link – http://www.wfp.org/mollyquiz.

Know more about Molly and her family and friends on this video:

For every participant who completes the quiz a child will be fed, so imagine if you who is reading this post, and share the quiz to the rest of your friends, what difference you can do once you fill in a cup of warm nutritious meal and give it to a chills like Molly. You are providing them nutrition, helping them focus on their students and more you’re taking part of fulfilling their dreams. Do something good today and let’s feed a child by taking the Molly’s World Quiz http://www.wfp.org/mollyquiz.
