Join the 17th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta on February 9-12!

It’s the time of the year again when everyone dreams to fly and flocks to Air Force City, Diosdado Macapagal International Airport in Clark Field, Pampanga for the 17th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta that will happen on February 9-12, 2012. The four-day event showcases hot air balloons that have different unique designs and shapes that will really amazed the audience. Aside from that there’s aerial acrobatics, parachuting, paragliders, remote control plains and kite flying that are part of the events highlights.

With more than 80, 000 guests who will be joining the event, the organizer of the 17th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta invites various group that will showcase their hot air balloons and talents in flying. Participating countries include skydivers of Malaysia and Dubai, and there are special-shaped hot air balloons, which include a car-shaped cutie from Germany, a daisy flower, ice cream cone, and a birthday cake from the United States, “Iwi the Kiwi” from New Zealand and several other regularly shaped huge “flying bubbles” will take the center stage of the festivities.

There are more surprises that everyone should expect at the 17th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta courtesy of aviation enthusiasts from USA, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Poland, The Netherlands, Austria, Japan, England and South Korea. There are also booths that offer food and souvenirs on a very affordable prices.

 

The 17th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta entrance fee or ticket now cost Php 200 per day. For those who wanted to see how the balloons where prepared before flying I suggest that you and your friends should be at the venue around 5am at least to see the preparation and the flying the hot air balloons.
