As Repertory Philippines opens their 45th theater season on 2012, they will be opening it with controversial, yet light and heart-warming play entitled Next Fall. The play was written by Geoffrey Nauffts, a sitcom director and actor who stars in Law & Order, Six Feet Under, Nash Bridges and so many more. As Rep Phils brings Next Fall to Onstage, Greenbelt 1 in Makati City on January 13 – February 5, 2012 it will be directed by veteran theater actor and director Audie Gemora and key roles will be played by Bart Guingona and David Bianco.
Next Fall follows the life changing journey of a gay couple; Adam (Guingona) who is a committed cynic, atheist and hypochondriac, and Luke (Bianco) who is a born again Christian. Trying to make things perfect as a couple, Luke works things and understands his partner Adam who is mocking him with his faith. But things change for Adam after an accident and require him to find refuge to Luke’s family and to find that faith that his partner has to get the answer he longs for.
The play also include actors; Liesl Batucan, Niccolo Manahan, Juno Henares, and Miguel Faustmann. Next Fall will run from January 13 – February 5, 2012 with matinee shows on Saturdays and Sundays at 3:30 p.m. All performances are at Onstage, Greenbelt 1, Makati City.
