Philippine SME & Franchise Expo 2011: Discovering your potential to business

On October 27-29, the Trade Advertising Exhibitions & Conventions International Inc in cooperation with Franchise Institute of the Philippines (FIP) headed by Armando “Butz” Bartolome, the franchise guru in the country brings the Philippine SME & Franchise Expo 2011. It is the 3rd exposition on small and medium enterprises, franchising, direct selling and business opportunities that will happen at the PICC Forum at the CCP Complex in Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City. There will be 120 SME and franchise business on display that is open to more than 8, 000 visitors joining the 3-day event. Admission is free; all they need to do is to register at http://www.smexpoph.com.

According to Butz Bartolome, Philippine SME & Franchise Expo 2011 is the venue for those who wanted to know the better way how to start a business. The 3-day event will also have series of talks and workshops on franchising and how to handle business efficiently with passion and confidence. Butz Bartolome will be one of the speakers in the seminar and sharing his stories and thoughts about the possibilities on engaging business especially if it’s about franchise. With his book “Is Franchising For You?”, it will help soon to be retired employees, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), and those who wanted to use their saving to a more income generating projects.

Butz mentioned that in order to start a franchise or business the minimum amount is around P150, 000 where it includes training and workshop to the future business partners. Workshops includes from the simplest activity like cleaning dishes, sweeping the floor, being a cashier, waiter and later know how to calculate the profit versus the expenses aside from the strategic area and the dedication of the future business partner.

Members of the FIP like Mang Inasal, Fiorgelato, Potato Corner, VCargo, Lay Bare, Generika, Cut, Bibingkinitan, Julie’s Bakeshop, Freshka, Baliwag, Chicco di Caffe, Baliwag Lechon Manok, El Bono Pizza, Unigosyo, Chichariffic and the newest member Chicken Deli of Bacolod will be joining the roasters of participants and exhibitors of the Philippine SME & Franchise Expo 2011.
