Being the primary payment options for online marketplace, Globe Telecom’s GCash and UnionBank’s EON Card join forces to make payment more easy for online buyers and merchants but still has the security features that everyone love. Both are known for the e-money features; for G-Xchange Inc (GXI) creator of GCash it is giving you the option to use your mobile phone as your e-wallet to pay or to receive money, while for UnionBank’s EON Card it enables Paypal users to verify their accounts and withdraw money on a minimal transaction fee.

This partnership of Globe and Unionbank promotes a smarter banking solution among the online buyers and merchants who doesn’t have credit card to pay goods and products they saw on Amazon, Ebay, Discount Coupon Sites and Multiply Marketplace, at the same time for merchants to have more options on receiving money more than the Cash on Delivery (COD) or bank deposit and waiting for the receipt before sending their products. This also makes transaction safer and faster like we always wanted that’s why we usually do online transactions especially buying some stuffs in respectful market sites.

To avail this service, costumers should call UnionBank costumer service at 84-186 to register their Globe mobile number and nominate their account. After activating the service, they are now able to cash-out their GCash funds by texting in G2U (space) amunt and send to 2318. For those who wanted to top up their GCash wallet, subscribers should text U2G (space) amount and send to 2318. To inquire for their available UnionBank balance all they need to do is to text Bal and send to 2318. Minimal transaction fee will be deducted on the regular load of the subscriber.
