Electrolux launches Vac from the Sea campaign

In line with their on going campaign for recycle materials, Electrolux launches Vac from the Sea project that will open the minds of everyone on taking care of our seas. Right now the Vac from the Sea project is represented by three vacuum cleaners that have designs made from the plastics materials found in the sees of Hawaii, Thailand and United Kingdom. All materials were collected from the beach cleanup by the volunteers and Electrolux employees.

All three vacuum cleaners were assembled at the Electrolux model makers in Stockholm using all the debris gathered from the seas where cleanup was done. There are two sets of this vacuum cleaners and it’s currently on display at the Ayala Museum in Makati City.

Electrolux Ultrasilencer Green Vacuum Cleaner

Electrolux also launches their latest vacuum unit that is eco-friendly and made of 55% recycled plastic materials. This Electrolux Ultrasilencer Green vacuum cleaner uses greater energy efficiency up to 33% compare from the usual 2000W vacuum cleaner making it energy efficient with its wattage reduction feature.

Aside from Hawaii, Thailand and UK, Sweden and France were among the countries that conducted coastal cleaning. Electrolux works with various organizations like B.E.A.C.H, Surfinder Foundation, Blye View Divers, KIMO International, Fishing for Litter and Sotenäs Municipality. With this campaign, Electrolux doesn’t just give comfort to every home but they also share in preserving and taking care of the environment through their environmental projects.
