After the huge success of Agua Bendita, and Momay, Xyriel Manabat returns to the primetime slot with award winning actress Connie Reyes and Jodi Sta. Maria for the show 100 Days to Heaven. The family-inspirational teleserye will replace the top rated Mutya that airs after TV Patrol in the Primetime Bida of ABS-CBN. Directed by Malu Sevilla the same directed that handles Agua Bendita.

The family light drama follows the strict business woman naman named Anna Manalastas (Reyes). She owns a toy company and being a perfectionist she ended up firing people where she finds uncompetitive. But in the peak of her success, she died because of an accident and ended up meeting the gate keeper (Noel Trinidad) that directs her in the doors of hell. She managed to settle it to the gate keeper by getting a second chance. The gate keeper agreed and told her that she will start from the beginning, and it happens she returns to earth as her younger self (Manabat). Powerless, the younger Anna finds her way to survive; she met Kevin (Louise Abuel), who offers her to live with his father Andres (Joel Torre) and her sister, Sophia (Sta. Maria). Returning to her younger self doesn’t excuse her to fulfill her agreement to the gate keeper to correct the things and ask forgiveness to the person she hurt within 100 days.

Luckily, I was given the opportunity to see the first week episodes of 100 Days to Heaven last May 1 at Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas. Same impressions that I had with May Bukas Pa, the show was refreshing and inspirational. The teleserye that will air on May 9 gives every viewer to reflect and discover an Anna in each one of us, and wanting to correct those things we did. All I can say is that it is worth watching at it celebrates the goodness of life, and the importance of forgiveness.

100 Days to Heaven also stars Dominic Ochoa, Valerie Concepcion, Rafael Rossell, Jason Abalos, Pokwang, Sam Milby, Xian Lim, Gloria Romero, Smokey Manaloto, Niel Coleta and so many more. The show will premiere on May 9, after TV Patrol at the Primetime Bida block of ABS-CBN. For more information about the show visit www.100daystoheaven.tv.
