Every year we commemorate the life, passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ during the Lenten Season up to the Easter Sunday. This is part the religious tradition of every Roman Catholic in the world. For children and kids at heart we always look toward the fun and excitement of Easter Sunday, which everything if happy and bright as it ushers to the opening of spring in other country.
Easter Sunday is always accompanied with colorful Easter Eggs and Easter Bunnies. In other places like malls and family gathering they conducted Easter Egg hunt for children where eggs comes in different colors and contains goodies inside it that kids will love.
But in the other part of the world, there are kids who cannot afford to enjoy Easter Sunday or even to have an Easter egg that comes in different colors and goodies inside. There were the kids who use the money to buy food to feed their hungry stomach and to fight malnutrition. Kids like them mostly live in Africa; other came from some parts of the Middle East, Asia and Latin America.
Easter Sunday is about breaking away from sorrow and pain, and it also teaches us the importance of sharing to others. I don’t want to spoil all the celebration, but I want to share everyone that beautiful well crafted and has goodie inside it Easter Egg cost $3 each and it is equivalent to 12 kids that can be fed with that amount. Let’s shift to Easter Bunnies, those cute furry white bunnies come in red ribbons and have bells on it, 1 bunny can cost $8 each and it is equivalent 32 children that can be fed. I am not saying that everyone should stop celebrating Easter Sunday which we always do it, I am just suggesting instead of having more of the Easter eggs and bunnies on the event, why don’t we cut some of the budget maybe 10 of the eggs and 5 of the bunnies and donate that amount to www.WeFeedBack.org and help feed those children who really needs the love and care of Easter Sunday.
