Warner Premiere and Warner Bros. Animation will be releasing Batman: Under the Red Hood, a DC Universe Animated Original Movies on Blu-Ray, DVD and downloads via iTunes and Amazon Video on Demand beginning July 27. The direct-to-video animated film will be also available via online renting or streaming from iTunes, Amazon Video, Xbox Live, Zune, CinemaNow and PlayStation Network beginning July 24.
Batman: Under the Red Hood is based from the story “Under the Hood” and “A Death in the Family”, both from Batman original story. It animated film stars Bruce Greenwood who will be the voice of Batman/Bruce Wayne and Jensen Ackles as the voice of Red Hood. The story follows the crusade against crime of Batman and the original Wonder Boy, Dick Grayson (now the hero Nightwing) being stalked by Red Hood a vigilante who tries to fight crime in Gotham City but opposite to the things that Batman is doing. Aside from Red Hood, Batman will also be fighting three of his enemies; The Joker, Ra’s al Ghul and the Black Mask.

The animated film also features voices of Neil Patrick Harris, John DiMaggio, Jason Isaacs and Wade Williams. Batman: Under the Red Hood will be available on Blue-Ray, DVD and download beginning July 27, distributed by Warner Home Video.
