Last June 17, in the unveiling of Kraft Foods Philippines and Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA) Guiness World Record title for the 5,845 cheese-infused dishes last December 14, 2009, defeating India’s 4.668 dishes last 2007. Kraft Food Philippines maker of Eden Cheese in partner of MIHCA also launches another partnership that will let food loving Filipinos taste that 5,845 dishes served in Araneta Coliseum in a café they will be building in SM Mall of Asia soon, the café will be called Café 5845 by Eden in commemoration of the 5, 845 cheese infused dishes that came from the recipes submitted from YUMM website and from various culinary schools like MIHCA and individuals who loves cooking. 

On the event MIHCA’s Culinary Training Head Chef Paolo Santino Guevara serves a hearty dinner to all the guests of the said event in the function room of MIHCA in the 4th floor of Times Plaza in Ermita, Manila.

Appetizer – A Tasting of Salmon (Gravlax and Nori Roulade) with Grilled Antichoke and Sweet Mustard Aioli (Bronze Medal in Appetizer Cold Display).
Soup – Melange of Seafood in Tomato and Saffron Broth.

Main Course – Duet of Chicken Ballotine with Foie Gras Foam on a bed of warm corn salad & Goat Cheese Clustered Lamb with Thyme Flavored Jus and pink peppercorn gnocchi (Bronze Medal Plated Dishes in Cold Display).

Dessert – Berry Mascapone and Cream Cheesecake with Vanilla Bararoise

All dishes is inspired by the Eden Cheese Recipes, and there will be more dishes will be served once Café 5845 opens in SM Mall of Asia in partnership of Kraft Foods Philippines maker of Eden Cheese and MIHCA.
