>Reach Out & Give Relief for the Victims of Haiti Earthquake

>Last January 12, 2010 a 7.0 magnitude earthquake strikes 14 miles west of Port-au-Prince, Haiti and damages infrastructures including the presidential office. The earthquake happens in the afternoon of Jan 12, Tuesday where it kills hundreds of Haitians including 36 United Nation Personnel. The earthquake left thousands of Haitians hurt and homeless due to the chaos that 7.0 magnitude quake cause. The earthquake that strikes Port-au-Prince was felt and caused panic in nearby countries including Dominican Republic. As of now United States President Barack Obama extended his help to the victims in Haiti Earthquake, while the United Nation World Food Program already sends food aid to the Haitians including the Energy Biscuit that they gave to the victims of Typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng on the Philippines. The United Nations will be appealing to the governments and its members on how they can help the Haitians in their recovery from the recent tragedy caused by the 7.0 magnitude earthquake:

For those who wanted to help here are the details and ways on how we can extend our relief to the Haitians:

For donations coming from the Philippines:

You can send your donations through SMS accepted by Philippine Red Cross. Just text: HAITI (amount) then send to 4483. But this service is only for Smart subscribers.

Philippine National Red Cross also accepts Cash Donations or by Checks just send it to the PNRC Headquarters in Manila, for checks please made it payable to The Philippine National Red Cross. Or you can deposit your donations through PNRC Bank Accounts found on their website (http://www.redcross.org.ph/Site/PNRC/appeal-haiti-earthquake.aspx)
For donations coming from other countries:

• OxFam.org – You can send your donations via credit card through OXFAM by visiting this link : http://www.oxfam.org/en/pressroom/pressrelease/2010-01-14/oxfam-team-dispatched-haiti-quake-zone you can see the list of OXFAM chapters on your country and you can send your donations online.

• RedCross.org – You can visit the red cross website where you can send your donations online (https://american.redcross.org/site/Donation2?4306.donation=form1&idb=428732091&df_id=4306&JServSessionIdr004=yxa9a0v901.app194a) or like on the Philippine National Red Cross you can send your cash donations through bank deposits or by sending it to your Red Cross head quarters on your countries.

• UNICEF.org – You can send your donations through the UNICEF donation form (http://www.supportunicef.org/site/pp.asp?c=9fLEJSOALpE&b=1023561)

For every peso or dollar you donate it will be a big help for the victims of Haiti earthquake. Make a difference aside from knowing what happen, spread the information on how to help and share what you have to those who is in need.
