It was the second time na nakita ko ang 1st Episode ng Your Song Presents My Only Hope, the first one was the rough version yung hindi pa gaano edited and the 2nd one was today (October 1) sa Dolphy theater with the rest of the entertainment press.
It’s more mature that what we saw in My Girl before dahil ang show ay bubbly talaga and it was directed by directors Eric Salud ( I love Betty La Fea director now) and Jerome Pobongan (yung kasama namin sa Baguio when we shot the My Girl Baguio scene). Now My Only Hope is directed by Jojo Seguin my former director in Wazzup Wazzup that aired on Studio 23.
What about the show of course I don’t want to talk spoilers here and bias aside, I never expected that I was still amazed eventhough nakita ko na yung ibang unedited scenes, been in the storycon and religoiusly in our AdProm meeting. Even the multiply site myonlyhope.multiply.com was different from the frolic mygirltv.multiply.com. Most of the characters change like Gerald Anderson who plays the emo Keeno and Niña Jose who plays Keeno’s problematic girlfriend. Kim Chiu is partly the same from My Girl but it’s more bigger role for her as she plays April, a girl who is burdened from the death of his father. Kasama sa kanila nandoon pa rin sila Enchong Dee (Jhun), Alex Gonzaga (Fifi), Regine Angeles (Yang), David Chua (August), Carlo Guevarra (Arnold) and Xian Lim (Rick).
Your Song Presents My Only Hope airs on October 5, after ASAP’08, with 16 episodes.
