Maxim

Being featured as a cover girl for a men’s magazines here in the country is quickly becoming a fad among celebrities particularly since it brings a different kind of prestige for a woman. And now, Maxim introduces its newest “it” girl who will definitely keep the big boys awake at night!

Twenty-four year-old Melissa Grace Roberts is the chosen one among numerous aspirants to become the second title-holder of Ms. Maxim Philippines 2007 after Karina Coronel dela Cerna’s stint last year. Blessed with gorgeous looks and an enviable body, the half-Filipina, half-German Maximexcitedly gushes about being here in the country for the second time in the span of three weeks. She plans to drop by ASAP 07 and Wowowee amidst her busy preparations for the Maxim event in Thailand.

Her schedule for the esteemed two-week photo shoot competition is set from October 6 to 12 in Thailand where she will pose on a boat with Ms. Maxim India. Getting ready for it is no big deal for this statuesque beauty, who has a ten-year ramp modeling experience that has made her confident and comfortable about herself.

When asked about what makes her different from the other contenders, she immediately responds a no-brainer answer that simply tells it all, “I’m a Filipino!” She further says that she doesn’t seriously think about what she’s going to face in a few days time since that will only make her nervous. For now, it seems that she is more thrilled about enjoying the places that she will be seeing, starting here in the Philippines.“
