Wanting to watch an action film with a twist of romance and drama? The Town is the movie to watch this month where Warner Bros Pictures will be showing action-drama film in all theaters nationwide beginning October 6. The Town is directed by Ben Affleck who is also the main star of the movie. It is adapted from Chuck Hogan’s novel Prince of Thieves and also features actors like Jon Hamm, Rebecca Hall, Jeremy Renner, Blake Lively, Pete Postlethwaite and Chris Cooper.

The action-drama crime film follows the story of Doug MacRay (Affleck) who part of notorious bank robbers, who wanted to change his life after meeting Claire Keesey (Hall). Keesey is a bank manager who was once their hostage. MacRay plans his escape from the group yet he was cornered by their boss and the FBI. Doug must continue his job and work things out for his escape.

One of the action films that I can say it has a story where viewers can appreciate aside from the action packed and adrenaline rushed scene. It may be common where a criminal meets lady love and he wants to escaped from his current situation and hoping for a better life with the girl he love. The plot is common but honestly it still hooks me until the last scene of the film. The transition of the scenes is fast adding to the emotions that are developed through the scoring and visual effects. The Town is worth watching especially who wants to watch a goon/gang set up movie that it is been awhile staged in the big screen.

The Town will be shown in all cinemas beginning October 6 and the film is distributed by Warner Bros Pictures.
