Kapamilya actress Jane Oineza takes on a new challenge in the vertical series format as she transforms from a devoted housewife into a bold, revenge-driven woman in iWant’s newest affair drama, “The Perfect Wife,” premiering all episodes on October 30.
Produced by JRB Creative Production, the series follows Jem (Jane), a successful woman who gives up her career to become a devoted wife and homemaker to Aries (Rafael Rosell). Her seemingly perfect marriage falls apart when she discovers that Aries is having an affair with socialite Rafaela (Aya Fernandez).
Devastated by the betrayal, Jem initially struggles to cope with her husband’s infidelity. Determined to turn her life around, however, she embarks on a transformation to regain her confidence, rediscover her ambitions, and take control of her future.
Along the way, Jem meets Diane (Tootsy Angara), a divorcee who understands her struggles and becomes her guide as she rebuilds her life. With Diane’s help, Jem discovers a stronger version of herself and devises a daring plan to expose Aries’ affair.
More than a story of infidelity and revenge, “The Perfect Wife” explores female empowerment and self-reinvention, showing how a woman can rise from heartbreak and reclaim the life she once set aside for love.
The series marks iWant’s latest offering in the vertical drama format, following the success of “Twist of Fate,” which starred Rafael Rosell alongside Yen Santos, Angelica Lao, and Tony Labrusca.
