Araneta City is welcoming the holiday season with the return of Parolan bazaar, which opened on October 1, bringing a festive marketplace of traditional Filipino lanterns, Christmas decorations, gift items, and seasonal treats to the City of Firsts.
A familiar holiday tradition for generations of shoppers, Parolan marks the beginning of Christmas preparations in Araneta City. The bazaar brings together vendors offering a variety of festive essentials, making it convenient for families to find decorations and gifts in one location.

Shoppers can explore a wide selection of parols, from grand Pampanga-style lanterns featuring intricate designs and colorful light displays to traditional bamboo and capiz lanterns that capture the warmth of a Filipino Christmas. Other holiday finds include Christmas tree ornaments, garlands, fairy lights, and nativity sets.
The festive atmosphere extends to a nearby food market, where visitors can enjoy Filipino Christmas favorites such as puto bumbong and bibingka, along with grilled barbecue, coffee, and other comfort food treats.

Located away from the bustle of large wholesale markets, Parolan offers shoppers a more relaxed setting to complete their holiday shopping while enjoying the sights, flavors, and traditions of the season.
“The annual Parolan bazaar in Araneta City has been a cherished holiday tradition for generations of families who view decorating as an essential part of their Christmas celebrations,” said Araneta City Vice President for Marketing Marjorie Go. “It is always a privilege for us to host this vibrant marketplace, which stands as just one of the many festive experiences we have prepared across the City of Firsts to make the holiday season merrier, brighter, and truly unforgettable for everyone.”
Parolan bazaar is located at the Expo Centro Parking area of Farmers Garden in Araneta City. It is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. until December 31, 2026, giving shoppers plenty of time to find their holiday essentials and enjoy the festive season.
