Up-and-coming Kapamilya singer Justin Mclaire explores the many sides of romance in his sophomore EP, “OUTLOUD,” a six-track collection that captures the excitement, comfort, and happiness of falling in love.
Released under StarPop, the EP takes listeners through different stages of a relationship, from meeting someone who feels instantly familiar and finding certainty in love to embracing the highs and lows of staying together.
“OUTLOUD” opens with “Click,” which tells the story of meeting someone who makes it easy to be yourself. “Sang Ayon” follows with a song about standing by the person you love despite what others may say.
In “Pahina,” love is compared to a book where every chapter comes with its own happy and difficult moments, while “Tara Tara” brings a feel-good road trip vibe about enjoying any destination as long as you are with someone special.
Meanwhile, “Fave Notiff” captures the simple excitement of waiting for a message from someone you love, while “Lilipad” reflects the thrill of falling for someone and looking forward to being together.
The six tracks were composed by Dennis Campañer, Russu Laurente, Rex Torremoro, Ron Pangyarihan, Trisha Denise, and ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo. StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos serves as the EP’s overall producer.
“OUTLOUD” follows Justin’s self-titled debut EP, released under StarPop last year and featuring “Bining Pantasya” and “Love Me Back.”
Beyond music, Justin has also ventured into acting, appearing in the ABS-CBN series “Blood vs Duty,” “Love Is Never Gone,” and “Sins of the Father,” as well as the film “Tirik.”
