Alden Richards and Nadine Lustre join forces for the first time in Love, Siargao, which arrives on GMA Network beginning September 28.
Following its initial streaming run on Viu Philippines, the series makes its way to free television, marking Alden’s much-anticipated return to GMA Prime and Nadine’s first appearance on the network’s primetime lineup.
The series features a star-studded ensemble that includes Sparkle stars Kim Ji Soo, AZ Martinez, Vince Maristela, and Kyline Alcantara, alongside Gab Lagman, Kakki Teodoro, Christopher Diwata, Marco Gallo, and Coleen Garcia.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Siargao, Love, Siargao follows Kara (Nadine) and Jao (Alden), two strangers who arrive on the island for very different reasons but find their paths unexpectedly crossing.
Kara comes to Siargao hoping to leave her past behind and embrace a fresh start. Jao, meanwhile, arrives determined to win back his longtime girlfriend after their breakup. But the island has other plans for both of them, as Jao becomes captivated by Siargao and meets Kara, a local tour guide who introduces him to a different side of island life.
Their personalities and beliefs may clash, but their unexpected connection takes them through the highs and lows of modern romance. As they navigate love, healing, and second chances, Kara and Jao discover that sometimes a change in destination can also lead to a change in direction.
