Security Bank Corporation is strengthening its focus on wealth management, entrepreneur banking, and corporate and institutional banking as part of a three-year strategy aimed at capturing new growth opportunities in the Philippine banking sector.
The strategy was unveiled during Investor Day 2026, held as the Bank celebrates its 75th anniversary and builds on its strong performance in the first half of 2026. Security Bank reported PHP6.1 billion in net income, PHP34.9 billion in revenues, and PHP15.4 billion in pre-provision operating profit during the period.
President and CEO Victor Lee said the Bank is moving forward with a clear focus on areas where it can build long-term competitive advantages.
The Bank’s wealth management business will focus on deepening relationships with affluent and emerging affluent clients, while entrepreneur banking will seek to become the preferred financial partner of business owners. Its corporate and institutional banking business will target opportunities arising from major projects, business ecosystems, and growing cross-border activity.

Security Bank also plans to strengthen its transaction banking capabilities, expanding its role in clients’ payments, collections, cash management, and other day-to-day financial activities. The initiative is expected to help deepen customer relationships while supporting the Bank’s deposit franchise.
Another key component of the strategy is the Bank’s partnership with MUFG Bank, which combines Security Bank’s local market expertise with MUFG’s global network and cross-border capabilities. Building on its Japan Desk, Security Bank sees opportunities to support multinational companies and facilitate business and investment flows across key international markets.
The Bank will also leverage its broader ecosystem, which includes Home Credit, Mitsubishi Motors Finance, and SB Finance, to participate in consumer and mobility financing and create additional opportunities beyond its core banking operations.
With these initiatives, Security Bank aims to pursue targeted growth while building stronger relationships across its priority customer segments and expanding its role in the financial needs of businesses and communities.
