Prime Video has unveiled the first official teaser for Vought Rising, the highly anticipated new series set within the universe of the multi-Emmy Award-winning global hit The Boys. Starring Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash, the upcoming prequel series offers fans a first glimpse into the dark and twisted origins of Vought International ahead of its premiere in 2027.
Set in the 1950s, Vought Rising expands the growing The Boys franchise by exploring the early days of the powerful corporation at the center of the series’ chaotic superhero world. The newly released teaser introduces the tone, setting, and story that will shape the next chapter of the franchise.
Joining Ackles and Cash in the cast are Mason Dye, Will Hochman, KiKi Layne, Jorden Myrie, Nicolo Pasetti, Elizabeth Posey, Ricky Staffieri, and Brian J. Smith. Ackles and Cash will also serve as producers on the project.
Paul Grellong will serve as showrunner and executive producer alongside The Boys creator Eric Kripke and executive producers Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Ori Marmur, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Michaela Starr, and Jim Barnes.
The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film.
Meanwhile, the fifth and final season of The Boys is now streaming exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
