Security Bank Foundation (SBFI) has been recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) for its continued support of public education, including receiving the Benefactor’s Award from DepEd Region III (Central Luzon).
The Foundation also earned Regional Educational Partner Awards from DepEd Region IV-A (CALABARZON), along with Division Partner Awards from Batangas City, Laguna Province, Zamboanga City, and Ozamiz City. These honors were presented during DepEd’s stakeholder appreciation events held across the country.
Representing SBFI, Trustee Melissa Aquino, Executive Director Louie De Real, and Resource Mobilization Officer Ricardo Llego accepted the Benefactor’s Award from DepEd Region III, led by Regional Director Dr. Ronnie Mallari.
“Education is the greatest equalizer in life,” said Security Bank Foundation Chairman Rafael Simpao Jr. “These recognitions highlight the value of collaboration in addressing the needs of our public schools.”
SBFI is set to receive additional recognitions from DepEd Tarlac and the DepEd Central Office in the coming months.
“We remain committed to working closely with DepEd and our partners to help create better learning spaces and opportunities for Filipino students,” Simpao added.
Through sustained partnerships with DepEd and other stakeholders, Security Bank Foundation continues to help address the country’s classroom shortage, ensuring more Filipino students can learn and thrive in safe, supportive environments.
