As part of its annual Global Month of Good, Starbucks Philippines is strengthening its commitment to communities while encouraging Filipinos to create positive change through everyday actions.
This year’s campaign highlights a simple message: anyone can be a Community Champion through small, intentional efforts that benefit people, communities, and the environment.
“Our local initiatives are grounded in the belief that meaningful change starts with strong community connections,” said Jamie Silva, Senior Manager for Marketing, Digital Customer Experience, and Social Impact at Starbucks Philippines. “From education to disaster response initiatives and partner volunteerism, 2025 reflects how collective action can create lasting impact.”
Looking ahead to 2026, Starbucks Philippines is expanding its impact through stronger partnerships, improved access to essentials, and more opportunities for partners (employees) and customers to get involved.
Through its partnership with Planet Water Foundation and The Starbucks Foundation, Starbucks Philippines provides clean water access and hygiene education to around 42,400 people nationwide. This April, a ninth AquaTower in Camarines Sur will serve an additional 7,000 individuals.

The company also continues its partnership with HOPE to support education, with its sixth classroom in Sarangani completed this April to provide safer learning spaces for students.
In parallel, Starbucks Philippines is advancing sustainability efforts through its partnership with MPower, supplying electricity to around 60 Metro Manila stores under the Retail Aggregation Program to improve efficiency and support long-term goals.
Volunteerism remains central to Starbucks’ mission. Community Stores in Abad Santos, Tondo, and Maysilo Circle continue to support education programs with AHA! Learning Center, Young Focus Foundation, and Mano Amiga Philippines, benefiting over 1,500 learners through literacy and leadership activities.
Addressing food insecurity, Starbucks has redirected nearly 3 million food items from close to 300 stores through its FoodShare program, in partnership with The Philippine Food Bank Foundation and Grab Philippines.
Customers are also encouraged to participate through simple actions, such as using for-here ware or bringing reusable tumblers in exchange for a PHP 10 discount.
Through small collective actions, meaningful impact grows. This Global Month of Good, everyone is invited to be a Community Champion. Learn more at starbucks.ph/social-impact.
