FUJIFILM Corporation has announced the launch of the instax mini Evo Cinema™ (mini Evo Cinema), the latest addition to its instax™ hybrid instant camera Evo series. The new model is now available across retail stores and online platforms in the Middle East and GCC region.

The Evo Series is a hybrid instant camera line that allows users to shoot images while previewing them on an LCD monitor, select their favorite shots, and print them instantly—offering a creative and immersive photography experience enhanced by a wide range of effects.

Video-to-Print Innovation

The instax mini Evo Cinema™ captures both still images and short videos. It introduces a unique feature that converts video content into a QR code, allowing users to print a selected frame from the video as an instax™ photo while also preserving access to the full video via the QR code.

This enables users to “hand over a video” in printed form, making it easy to relive and share special moments. By scanning the QR code, users can revisit the video anytime through a smartphone.

Eras Dial™ Creative Effects

A standout feature of the new camera is the Eras Dial™, which allows users to apply visual and audio effects inspired by different eras. The camera includes 10 era-based effects, such as a 1960s 8mm film-inspired style, each offering 10 adjustable intensity levels for a total of 100 creative variations.

These effects recreate the textures, tones, and even nostalgic audio characteristics of past decades, delivering a cinematic and immersive shooting experience.

Design Inspired by Analog Heritage

The camera features a vertical grip design inspired by Fujifilm’s historic FUJICA Single-8, an 8mm home movie camera introduced in 1965. Its premium black-and-gray finish, tactile dials, and “Print Lever” evoke an analog shooting experience, enhancing the joy of capturing and printing images.

An optional viewfinder accessory and ergonomic grip further improve usability and shooting stability.

App Integration and Editing Features

Through a dedicated smartphone app, users can view, edit, and combine captured videos and images. Clips can be merged into videos of up to 30 seconds and enhanced with cinematic opening and ending templates.

Additional features include:
• Poster Template design for movie-style instax™ prints
• Direct Print function for printing smartphone photos
• Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity for seamless transfer and preview

With these features, the mini Evo Cinema functions as a 3-in-1 device—camera, video creator, and smartphone printer

The instax mini Evo Cinema™ is a hybrid instant camera is already released in March, priced at USD 460 (varies by market) and AED 1,699 in the UAE via Grandstores. It expands the world of instax™ by blending video, photography, and printing into one creative device. With its theme “One camera, decades of possibilities,” Fujifilm invites users to capture era-inspired moments and turn them into tangible memories.
