EastWest, in partnership with Visa, has unveiled BizAccess Visa Debit, a new business banking solution equipped with a checking account, digital tools, and practical features that give entrepreneurs greater ease, efficiency, and control over their finances.

With SMEs comprising 99% of Philippine businesses, EastWest understands that entrepreneurs manage numerous responsibilities daily. BizAccess Visa Debit helps simplify financial tasks by enabling owners to separate business and personal funds, track transactions in real time, and access essential tools that keep operations running smoothly.

At the core of the BizAccess offering is the EastWest BizAccess Visa Debit Card, which provides a secure and convenient way to handle day-to-day business transactions, including purchases, supplier payments, and other operational expenses. Business owners can issue up to ten cards to their staff, making expense management and transaction monitoring more streamlined. Cardholders also enjoy travel accident insurance, instant transaction alerts, and exclusive Visa promos and rewards. A welcome offer and waived over-the-counter fees for deposits and withdrawals further enhance the value of the BizAccess Visa Debit Card.

Each card is linked to a BizAccess Checking Account, which requires a minimum maintaining balance of Php 25,000. Entrepreneurs can manage this account through EasyBiz Online Business Banking, giving them complete oversight of their finances. With EasyBiz, they can view balances, monitor transactions, pay suppliers, manage cash flow, settle government dues via eGov, handle corporate bills, and perform other essential banking activities anytime, anywhere. The platform also offers card lock/unlock controls for added security.

During the launch, EastWest and Visa also recognized several established business clients that represent Filipino entrepreneurship and innovation: Aficionado, Bosch Car Service, Colombo Merchant Philippines, Kenzo and Kloe’s Nature Farm, and Nacho King. Their presence highlighted the versatility of BizAccess in supporting businesses across various industries.

“SMEs are the backbone of the Philippine economy, and we’re proud to give them the tools they need to thrive,” said Jerry Ngo, EastWest Chief Executive Officer. “BizAccess is more than a debit card, it is a business partner that empowers entrepreneurs to manage finances easily, securely, and confidently, so they can focus on growing their business.”

Representatives from EastWest, Visa, and biz partners such as Nacho King (Shemarie Bartolome), Kenzo and Kloe’s Nature Farm (Khristine Cortez), Bosch Car Service (Eric Lucero), Colombo Merchant Philippines (Joel Dalimoos) and Aficionado (Allan Valera) come together at the launch of the EastWest BizAccess Visa Debit Card, which supports Filipino entrepreneurs across industries.

“Visa is delighted to partner with EastWest in empowering Filipino entrepreneurs,” said Sid Bada, Head of Clients, Visa Philippines. “Through BizAccess, SMEs gain trusted, convenient payment solutions that simplify their operations, while connecting them to Visa’s global network of offers and rewards that support business growth.”

SME owners and decision-makers can now apply for the EastWest BizAccess Visa Debit Card at any EastWest Store nationwide. The accompanying BizAccess Checking Account can be conveniently opened and managed online. With straightforward activation and step-by-step guides available on EasyBiz, business owners can quickly start managing their finances with greater ease and confidence.
