BlastTV, a local streaming platform owned and operated by Tap Digital Media Ventures (TapDMV), has officially announced that its app is now “Legit Libre.” The platform promises to deliver world-class and exclusive entertainment, completely free for every Filipino viewer.
The streaming service offers a diverse lineup of blockbuster movies, binge-worthy TV shows, US series, anime, K-dramas, live TV channels, and action-packed sports events. With a vast library of premium content from global entertainment partners such as Paramount+, Ani-One, Muse Asia, WWE, UFC, NFL, and WTA, BlastTV sets a new standard for free streaming in the Philippines.
BlastTV’s free lineup includes hit US series like From, Ghosts, Elsbeth, Matlock, Nancy Drew, and Survivor. Fans of Korean dramas can enjoy titles such as Pyramid Game, Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale, Bargain, A Bloody Lucky Day, and Yonder. For younger audiences and animation lovers, the platform features SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, Blue’s Clues & You, The Loud House, and The Casagrandes. Anime enthusiasts can also stream fan favorites like Jujutsu Kaisen, Solo Leveling, Kaiju No. 8, Haikyu!!, My Hero Academia, Spy x Family, DanDaDan, and Frieren, among others.
Sports fans can catch their favorite events live and on-demand, also for free. This includes WWE SmackDown and WWE Raw (World Wrestling Entertainment), UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), NFL (National Football League), NHL (National Hockey League), and WTA (Women’s Tennis Association), where Filipina tennis star Alex Eala competes. BlastTV also streams combat sports such as BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, partly owned by MMA legend Conor McGregor) and Cage Warriors, along with National Women’s Soccer League football and Spain’s Liga ACB, one of Europe’s premier basketball leagues that produced stars like Luka Dončić, Arvydas Sabonis, and Marc Gasol.
“This is our gift to every hardworking Filipino,” said BlastTV President and CEO Celinda De Guia. “We hope that by making BlastTV free, with some of the best movies, TV shows, and live sports in the world, we can make their days a little brighter. And with the app available on every device, we want to be their companion from morning commutes to evenings spent at home with family.”
To help Filipinos connect more deeply with global stories, some of BlastTV’s international titles are available in Filipino through what the platform calls “Pinoy Dub.” The company also plans to expand its catalog of dubbed titles and eventually produce original local content.
“Filipino stories are at the heart of why we do what we do,” De Guia added. “We want to serve audiences with narratives that reflect their real experiences.”
In support of local programming, BlastTV recently added two local news channels, Bilyonaryo News Channel and Abante, to its live TV lineup. The platform is also committed to showcasing Filipino athletic talent, including being the official streaming home of the V-League, one of the country’s top developmental volleyball leagues.
BlastTV is accessible on mobile devices, tablets, desktops, and Android TVs. Users can download the app via Google Play or the Apple App Store, or visit blasttv.ph for more information.
