This Friday, August 15, the award-winning game show Family Feud marks its 800th episode with a nostalgic treat, a heartwarming reunion of one of Philippine TV’s most beloved barkadas.
Hosted by Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, this milestone is more than just a game. It is a celebration of friendship, cherished memories, and the enduring legacy of a show that helped define an era.
For this special episode, the studio will be filled with 1990s vibes as the cast of the iconic Kapuso youth series T.G.I.S. (Thank God It’s Sabado) faces off in a barkadahan showdown.
Team TGIS (original batch) includes Michael Flores, Ciara Sotto, Bernadette Allyson, and Maybelyn Dela Cruz. On the other side, Team ‘90s Teen Barkada (the next-generation cast) features Kim De Los Santos, Polo Ravales, Maui Taylor, and Chico Ventosa.
The celebration also serves as a touching tribute to the late Red Sternberg, a well-loved member of the T.G.I.S. family. Red’s loved ones will be present to honor his memory and the joy he brought to fans.
True to Family Feud’s spirit of giving, celebrity players will compete for their chosen charities, while two lucky studio audience members have the chance to win a total of Php 10,000 by guessing unrevealed survey answers.
