After The American, Ayala Malls Cinemas (Greenbelt 3, Glorietta 4 and Trinoma) brings another suspense-drama that features Robert De Niro, Edward Norton and Milla Jovovich in a film directed by John Curran entitled Stone. The film will be shown in Ayala Malls Cinema on October.
Stone brings the story of Gerald “Stone” Creeson (Norton) who is an arsonist who uses his wife Lucetta (Jovovich) to seduce Jack Mabrey (De Niro), a parole officer in order to manipulate his release. As Stone working on his way out though his wife, Mabrey is also playing games with the imprisoned arsonist by reviewing Stone’s case which involves the cover up of his grandparents murder with a fire. Mabrey who will be retiring soon faces a riddle on whether to release Stone and enjoys the company of Lucetta, Stone’s sexy and immoral wife where the arsonist weaves the entire plan perfectly to the degree of destroying Mabrey’s relationship with his long-suffering spouse – Madylyn (Frances Conroy).
