Columbia Pictures brings to the big screen the most anticipated action thriller movie lead by Angelina Jolie that will be shown in all theater nationwide beginning July 23 – Salt. Salt is directed by Philip Noyce the person behind the film The Bone Collector with screenplay by Brian Helgeland (Green Zone) and Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium).
Angelina Jolie will ba playing the role of Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent connected to the team of Russian spy. In order to clean her name and accusation she needs to fight her group and trace the person who frames her up or reveals her real identity. Salt is a one big rollercoaster ride in finding the truth behind the real personality of Agent Salt. As much at the movie goers will enjoy the film, Jolie expresses her excitement in her role. “I think you go through the film, if we have done our job right, not being sure of who she is and when you think you are sure of who she is maybe even that is different than you thought it was,” Jolie says.
The film also stars Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Salt will be showing all theaters here in the Philippines beginning July 23 and distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
