After the trending performance of Gaga Lord a week ago in The X Factor Season 14 with her version Shirley Bassey’s Diamonds Are Forever that Simon Cowell enjoyed together with Nicole Scherzinger and guest Judge Alesha Dixon, two more Filipino talents are being showcased at show.
In the second audition week of The X Factor UK, boy band JBK that comprises of Joshua Bulot, Bryan Del Rosario, and Kim Lawrenz Ordonio serenade the judges with their version of Sam Smith’s Lay Me Down. For theatergoers, Joshua already ventured in theater whereas he played the role of Tolits in PETA Theater’s Rak of Aegis.
Meanwhile, Elysa Villareal or now known as Elysa V in her audition at The X Factor gives a feisty version of Fleur East’s “Sax”. She’s not new in singing competition whereas she tried joining The Voice of Australia in 2015 with “Where Is the Love?” of The Black Eyed Peas as audition piece. Unfortunately she didn’t make it in the blind audition. And early this year she joined Tawag ng Tanghalan, a Philippine singing competition in It’s Showtime on ABS-CBN where she won the daily round but didn’t won the face off with the depending champion.
