It is official, former GMA Network’s prime actor is now with ABS-CBN, Richard Gutierrez signed contract with the Kapamilya network last May 31 together with ABS-CBN COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, Star Creatives COO Malou Santos, Finance head for Broadcast and News and Current Affairs Cat Lopez, and talent manager Annabelle Rama. In his interview he shared that he is excited to be given an opportunity to work in ABS-CBN. ““I have always been curious how it is to work in ABS-CBN. I only hear great things about this network. Finally, now I’m here”, Richard said.
Richard will be joining the cast of the much-awaited third installment of the Lobe series now entitled La Luna Sange. He will be reunited with Angel Locsin who was his co-actor in Mulawin that is now reimagined and currently airing on Richard’s former network. Richard will be playing the role of Sandrino, a vampire. He will join John Lloyd Cruz who will be reprising his role as Mateo from Imortal. Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are joining the star-studded cast. The TV series will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.

Aside from La Luna Sangre, Richard is also slated to do a movie with Angelica Panganiban and former loveteam Angel Locsin under Star Cinema. This is Richard’s second movie with Star Cinema. The first one is For the First Time together with KC Concepcion.
