Almost one year since she transfer to the Kapamilya Network, Queen of Soul Jaya is now set to return to the concert scene with Jaya: No Boundaries that will be happening on May 12 at the Music Museum in Greenhills, San Juan City. In her recent presscon at the Icon Hotel, she shared that she was thinking to quit showbiz and settle in abroad with her family until she decided to sign with Cornerstone Entertainment to manage her.
Her Jaya: No Boundaries concert that is produced by Aqueous Entertainment, Co-presented by Star Image and Studio Q, follow Cornerstone artists will join her including Kyla, Thor and KZ Tandingan as her special guests. Other special guests include Upgrade, Dancing In Tandem Royalties, Moira Lacambra, Jannah Zaplan, Nick Vera Perez and Reign Basa that will sure make Jaya’s return in the concert scene memorable. Meanwhile, Jaya is currently part of the top rating It’s Showtime of ABS-CBN as one of the judges in Tawag ng Tanghalan. Singing contest is not new to Jaya whereas she joined Metropop Song Festival in 1996 in GMA Network where she won as the song interpreter. But before that Jaya already started her singing career in the US before she decided to go home in the Philippines.
Jaya hit songs include Dahil Tanging Ikaw, Laging Naroon Ka and Wala Na Bang Pag-ibig that became soundtracks of Angelu de Leon and Bobby Andrews love team in the 90s.
