In the pilot episode of the much awaited Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids on ABS-CBN, the newest member of the jury – Ogie Alcasid had a taste of the iconator. He transformed to Annie, the lead star of the Broadway musical with the same title.
Wearing the big curly hair and the red dress, Ogie as Annie performed the iconic song Tomorrow that was once performed by Lea Salonga when she was starting in the theater. Watch the performance of Ogie below:
Ogie will be joining Sharon Cuneta and Gary Valenciano in the jury and will be guiding the celebrity kids including the “Dance Sweetheart” AC Bonifacio, “Bibong Child Wonder” Alonzo Muhlach, “Breakout Child Star” Awra Briguela, “Big Shot Belter” Elha Nympha, “Musikerong Charmer” Justin Alva, “Young Diva ng Masa” Lyca Gairanod, “Talented Cutie” Sam Shoaf, and “Daytime Princess” Xia Vigor. The celebrity kids will be transforming to international and local music icons and performers. Their performances will be judged based on their looks and voice.
Billy Crawford will be hosting the competition as it airs every Saturdays after Home Sweetie Home and Sundays after Goin Bulilit.
