>From the blockbuster film 300 as Leonidas, the Spartan King, Gerald Butler ventures to more of a leading man role in a romance comedy with Jennifer Aniston in the Bounty Hunter. The film is directed by Andy Tennant, produced by Neal Moritz and distributed in the Philippines by Columbia Pictures beginning May 5 in all theaters nationwide.

The film is about Milo played by Butler who is searching for his ex-wife reported named Nicole played by Aniston who is involved to a murder cover up. But during the chase, things get more complicated and more intimate that they are no longer chasing to solve a crime but to patch things up between the two of them.

“Gerry’s been in a lot of different kinds of movies, but his talent for comedy is just beginning to be explored,” this is how Mortiz described Butler as a new guy in romance comedy but he has lots of things to show especially the film is likely done just for him. Tennant seconded Mortiz description by saying that Butler is one of the actors he sees that has potential in doing comedy film. Butler enjoys his character after reading the script. “It was sharp, hilarious, edgy, and it was on. I laughed from start to finish and I thought, ‘I wanna play that guy.” Butler says.

Aside from his role Butler enjoys working with Aniston, he says that he has the chance to go crazy as the character leads him unlike his other roles that are stiff and serious. “I think their intellects matched beautifully,”, Butler describing their (Aniston) chemistry in the film. “He loved her humor, her quick wittedness, her doggedness, her stubbornness – all the very things that now drive him up the wall. But it’s clear that Milo and Nicole still have a lot of feelings for each other.” Butler added.

“He’s absolutely disarming,” Aniston claims as she enjoys working with Butler and how he gets along with the whole cast and crew of the Bounty Hunter. The film opens on May 5 with stars including Christine Baranski, Jason Sudeikis , Jeff Garlin, Coral Anderson, and Peter Greene, and taped in New York and other near places in United States. The Bounty Hunter is distributed internationally by Sony Pictures International and Columbia Pictures exclusively here in the Philippines.
