In a private and intimate garden wedding at the Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club in Laguna, actress, singer and TV host Nikki Gil finally ties knot with her non-showbiz boyfriend BJ Albert, a businessman. In a report posted by ABS-CBN News, Nikki’s showbiz friend who joined the entourage include Iya Villania as the maid of honor, principal sponsors Gary Valenciano, Jose Mari Chan, Arnold Vegafria, and Universal Records boss Kathleen Dy-Go. Other celebrities who witnessed the wedding of Nikki and BJ include Drew Arellano, Shaina Magdayao, John Prats and Isabel Oli.
Nikki and Albert became a couple in 2013 when they become schoolmates in Ateneo de Manila University. They were formally introduced by a friend and become engaged in December 2014.
Nikki is one of the veteran VJs of MYX Channel and one of the hosts of ASAP. Aside from hosting, she already released four albums. She played various roles in Maalaala Mo Kaya and became part of TV series including Rounin, Pangarap na Bituin, Sineserye Presents Florinda, Carlo J Caparas’ Pieta, Nagsimula Sa Puso, Mundo Man Ay Magunaw, Maria Mercedes and Hawak Kamay. She also do theater musicals including Legally Blonde The Musical, Sweet Charity, They’re Playing Our Song and The Last 5 Years.
