After her revelation that she will no longer do the much-awaited Darn the Movie project because of her back injury, it doesn’t stop Angel Locsin for not renewing her contract with ABS-CBN. Last October 29, she renewed her contract with the network that ensures her TV and movie projects that her fans will surely love. During the contract signing she was with ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio, Carlo Katigbak, Cory Vidanes, Malou Santos, Direk Lauren Dyogi and her manager Ethel Espiritu.
Regarding her movie project with Batangas Governor Vilma Santos and Xian Lim will be the opening move of Star Cinema on 2016. Angel decided to transfer to ABS-CBN, which she portrayed iconic roles including Lyka in Lobo, Lia in Imortal, and Monica in The Legal Wife. With her decision that she will no longer do Darna, she promises that she will be supporting the actress that will be doing the role in the future and hopes that everyone will join her. Angel did numerous Maalaala Mo Kaya episodes that gained positive feedbacks from the viewers especially the 2-part SAF 44 tribiute.
