Block buster actress Zoe Saldana will be portraying the role of the deadly but sexy Aisha in Warner Bros.’ latest action-thriller “The Losers” that will be shown on April 23 in all theaters nationwide.
The Loser is the story of former U.S. Special Forces who were double crossed and abandoned in the jungles of Bolivia during the heat of offense against the revel. The film is based from the graphic novel written by Andy Diggle and illustrated by Jock with the same title. In revenge the abandoned team will unite and return to the Special Forces and take vengeance to the thing that happen to them. Saldana playing the role Aisha will be joining the team with her own reasons and goals that even the Losers leader Clay (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) cannot handle the manipulative and dangerous woman like her.
According to The Losers director Sylvain White he says while doing a casting for the film he thought that Zoe fits for the role of Aisha after seeing her in the film Avatar and Star Trek. “She has remarkable acting chops, but she also has the physicality the role demanded. Aisha is not the lady in distress; quite the contrary, she’s the badass who actually rescues the men. She’s very capable, very strong and very determined, and Zoë brought her own genuine strength to her performance. She also happens to look very much like the character in the comic book, so we were thrilled when she said yes.” White claims.
Joel Silver, the producer of the film explains that Saldana and Aisha compliments to each other, same thing with her with the other artist of the film. The way Zoe looks she possessed toughness, control, dominance and intelligence not to mention the sleaziness that her role has.
Catch Zoe Saldana as the red-hot Aisha in The Losers beginning April 23 in all cinemas nationwide. The film is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company worldwide.
