After the success of Bridges Of Love with Jericho Rosales and Paulo Avelino, Maja Salvador will not be taking a break from her hectic schedule after Dreamscape announced last August 17 that she will be joining the action drama series Ang Probinsyano with Coco Martin. She will be one of Coco’s leading ladies and will be playing to role of Glen a policewoman in the series. With the rumor that she replaced Angeline Quinto who decided to leave the show because of her schedule, Dreamscape clarified that Maja is an addition to the show and will not replace Angeline.

According to the report of Push.com.ph that Dreamscape explained that the role of Angeline in Ang Probinsyano is still open and in the future run if the schedule of Angeline permits her, she will join the cast and do her character.

Meanwhile, Ang Probinsyano marks the reunion project of Coco and Maja after their action drama series Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin in 2011. They also work in Nagsimula Sa Puso in 2010.

Ang Probinsyano is based from the movie of Fernando Poe Jr. in 1997 with the same title. It is part of the tribute project to the King of Philippine Cinemas. Susan Roses, the wife of Fernando will be joining the series along with Bela Padilla, Arjo Atayde, Albert Martinez, and Agot Isidro.
