After releasing the digitally restored and remastered copy of the iconic films like Oro Plata Mata, Himala, Kapag Langit Ang Humatol, Virgin People and Ganito Kami Noon Paano Kayo Ngayon?, ABS-CBN Film Restoration decided to release the iconic T-Bird at Ako of Vilma Santos and Nora Aunor so that the younger generation will appreciate the immortalized lines of the Star For All Seasons and Superstar as they tackle the issue of same-sex relationship.
The T-Bird at Ako was released in 1982 and was directed by Danny Zialcita. The story follows the confusion of Isabel (Aunor) looking for someone who will accept her as a person and she became at home with Sylvia (Santos). She fell in love with her and become overprotected. For Sylvia she refused to have a relationship with Isabel, which she thought is a taboo.

T-Bird and Ako will have its special screening on premieres Feb. 25, 7 PM, at the UPFI Film Center, UP Diliman and will be screened in selected cinemas nationwide under Star Cinema distribution.
