Last January 9, Starbucks officially releases new limited edition cards in line with the celebration of Valentine’s Day and the Lunar New Year or the Chinese New Year that will happen on February 19. This will be the second year for Starbucks to release this occasional limited edition cards for the two events on February.
The Valentine’s Day limited edition Starbucks card has a colorful hearts with the letters of Happy Valentine’s Day in a transparent plastic card that’s very straight forward about the occasion. It’s a perfect gift for your special someone either a coffee lover or a Starbucks card collector. It’s available for the minimum price of Php 300, which the cash will be credited in the card’s load.
Meanwhile, after the sold out Starbucks Lunar New Year calendar card last year which has a red wooden horse in a red in a gold and bronze background, Starbucks releases their second Lunar New Year limited edition card for 2015. Celebrating the wooden sheep, the design is a black sheep in a red background with 2015 Year of the Sheep writings on the lower left in gold and another in Chinese character beside the Starbucks logo on the upper right. Like the Valentine’s Day limited edition Starbucks card, it’s available for the minimum price of Php 300 which it will be converted to credit that you can use in purchasing merchandise, food and beverages in Starbucks.
Lastly, for Starbucks cardholders there will be Double Star Treat on February 16 and 17 in all Starbucks Philippines stores where they can earn to beverage stars Chestnut Praline Latte and Raspberry Truffle Mocha of any size using a Starbucks Card.
