It is rare to see daughter or son of any influential family in The Voice of the Philippines stage, the first one for the season 2 is Kai Honasan the daughter of Senator Gringo Honasan. In the day 2 of Blind Audition of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2, Kai is the 4-chair turner of the day making her the third contestant to have all 4 coaches (Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo and Apl de Ap) to press the red button and turn their chairs. The first two were Tanya Diaz and Kokoi Baldo who selected Bamboo and Sarah respectively.

Watch the acoustic version of Teenage Dream:

Kai choose Bamboo over the three coaches. From the short interview Sen. Honasan came out from the backstage and shared that he’s very proud of his daughter.
