Did The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 coaches make the wrong decision?

It’s another case of wrong choice of song that made the coaches of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 not to turn their chairs for Katherine dela Cruz who sang All Of Me. It was Katherine whose journey in The Voice ended that quick where she failed to qualify in the blind audition and made at least one of the coaches turn for her. Here’s her performance:

The Broadway diva Lea Salonga gave Katherine the chance to have a duet with her where as both of them played the role of Kim in Miss Saigon. Lea on Broadway and others while Katherine in California. With her performance of I Still Believe, Lea was amazed with the voice of Katherine but she said that she cannot give up on her All of Me piece. Instead she promise that she can recommend her to Miss Saigon but it didn’t guarantee her for an audition but at least she will mention the team to look for her in their next production.

Apl de Ap mentioned that Katherine lacks with a bit opportunity but he hopes that it will open doors to musical theater opportunity for her in the future.

The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 airs every Saturdays after Maalaala Mo Kaya and Sundays after Rated K.
